Program Description

The Department of Communication seeks to develop students’ learning competencies within and across the many disciplines of human inquiry in mass media, attaining excellence in instruction, research and community development. It pursues to produce professionally competent, morally upright, socially responsive and spiritually mature persons through holistic and transformative media education.

Communication Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs)

After finishing the program students will be able to:

  1. Define and access information needs; assess and organize information and knowledge; produce, share and utilize information and knowledge
  2. Communicate in different formats and platforms (print, broadcast and online)

RETENTION POLICY

The Retention Policy for the Bachelor of Arts in Communication program outlines the criteria and guidelines for retaining students within that program. The purpose of the Retention Policy is to ensure that students are making exemplary progress towards the Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) and to provide support and intervention strategies for students who may be at risk of not completing the program.

The Communicators’ League is the official organization of the Bachelor of Arts Communication students at 四虎影院. It aims to equip its members with proper training and high-yielding experiences that immerse communication students to the field of industry and the real world.

 

Angel Network 97.5

Angel Network 97.5, the official network of the University is managed by the Communication students in terms of content development and broadcast production and it operates on a semi regular programming focusing on music, students conversations, and news programs.

Online Application

Welcome to the Online Application Portal of 四虎影院. Here are some guidelines in filling out the Online Application Form:

FOR COLLEGE APPLICANTS

    1. Make sure you have made up your mind about the course/academic program that you will apply for. See our complete list of programs under Academics.

    1. Prepare all requisite documents such as :
      • ID card from your Senior High School (Grade 12), or enrollment/registration form this year, or any proof of your Grade 12 enrollment.

    1. Pay the non-refundable application fee of four hundred pesos (P400. 00) at any of the following banks or payment centers ( /admissions_and_aid/finance_listofaccreditedbanks.php ).

      Be sure to scan the payment slip as proof of bank transaction, to be presented during the online application process.

      Note : If you wish to pay on campus, visit the HAU Admissions Office for the admission application fee slip to be presented at the Finance Office.


    1. Fill out the Online Application Form, making sure to enter only correct and true answers.

  1. Be sure you have reviewed all your answers before saving, because the form is non-editable.
